ISEP mobility programs are designed to promote intercultural exchange and offer an international university experience.
The ISEP network comprises almost 300 higher education institutions, selected for the quality of their teaching and facilities.
At the University of Lille, the ISEP program is primarily designed for mobility to and from the United States.
You can choose your destination from among 145 partner universities in the United States.

Requirements
- Be enrolled in at least 2nd year at the time of application, fora mobility in 3rd year
Application procedure
You can leave for a semester (first or second semester) or a full academic year.
You must draw up an educational contract with the help of :
a teacher from your course
and the ISEP coordinator: Lucie De Carvalho
ISEP then takes care of the academic transcript and grades transfer, which enable you to validate your semester or year abroad as part of their French course.
To take part in the ISEP program, you will be selected on the basis of your academic record and your motivation.
Take part in the ISEP program presentation meetings to find out more about how to apply:
- Friday October 4, 2024 at 5pm, via the Zoom application
- Wednesday October 9, 2024 at 5pm, via the Zoom application
- Monday October 14, 2024 at 5pm, via the Zoom application
To obtain the link to the meeting, contact your course's international relations department.
- Log on to the “Partir à l'étranger” application on the University de Lille's ENT.
- Complete the “Etape 1 de demande de mobilité internationale” form and upload the following supporting documents:
* copy of transcripts from the previous two semesters (with English grade highlighted for non-English students wishing to study in an English-speaking country)
* language level (official certification or language test validated by the CRL)
* cover letter (in English)
* 2024-2025 academic certificate
* A study contract/list of courses for the 3 partner universities
- Save your form in PDF format and send it with all required documents to the International Mobility Department by e-mail to iseparobaseuniv-lillepointfr

ATTENTION! This date may be set earlier depending on your course's department.
AEN, MAUI and REARI-RJ enable to study from the 3rd of bachelor to the 2nd year of Master. Dare to be mobile !
AEN / MAUI / REARI-RJ : what does it mean ?
AEN is a mobility program enabling student to study in Australia.
A student exchange is much more than studying in another coutry. It is also the opportunity to discover new landscape, a different culture, to more learn about yourself and what you are capable of and to make friends for life!
The Australian universities part of the program :
- Edith Cowan University
- Griffith University
- University of Tasmania
- University of Wollongong
- Sydney Western University
CAREFUL! Make sure you have enough financial funds. Australia is an expensive country and the visa cost increased in July 2024.

MAUI is a mobility program enabling student to study in Mid West American Universities.
You will find all the American partner universities of the program in the MAUI website.
REARI-RJ is a mobility program enabling student to study in Brazilian universities located in the Rio de Janiero province.
You will find the list of the Brazilian partner universities in the REARI-RJ website.
Prerequisites
- Be enrolled in at least the 2nd year at the time of application for a mobility in 3rd year (ULille requirement)
- Have an excellent academic record (some programs request a minimum GPA to be eligible)
- Proof of English language proficiency. Usually, American and Australian universities require a level equivalent to C1 of the CEFR.
PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsability to check on the parnter university's website which tests are accepted to prepare your mobility.
REARI-RJ : only a few universities offer courses taught in English. The majority of the courses are taught in Portuguese. In both case, you will be asked to certify your level in the language (B2 minimum).
Application procedure
Find out more about the partner websites for these programs, and decide which institutions correspond to your course of study. You must choose a total of 3 universities.
You can also contact your international relations department to help you prepare your mobility project.
To take part in one of these programs, please follow these steps:
- Prepare your mobility request and contact your course's international relations department;
- Create your account or log on to the University of Lille's ENT “Partir à l'étranger” application;
- Complete and submit your stage 1 international mobility application form;
- Wait for a reply from your course's international relations department!
Be careful: for year-long or semester 2 departures, there is only one call per year (in February).
January 15: application deadline on the “Partir à l'étranger” application on the University of Lille's ENT (the deadline may be earlier depending on your program).
January: selection and ranking of applications by your program.
February: University of Lille International Relations pre-selection committee sends pre-selection results by e-mail to faculties, who then notify the students.
March: final selection of partner universities for your mobility program.
Following this selection, you will receive an e-mail with all the information you need to submit your application to the partner university.
