Finding a place to live in a new country can be a real challenge. To help you with your search and answer all your questions, the Maison Internationale invites you to the Housing Fair.

During this afternoon, you’ll have the chance to meet representatives from partner student housing facilities, student organizations, and housing professionals who will guide you through the process.
At 12:30 pm, join a workshop dedicated to finding housing in France. You’ll discover practical tips, the best platforms to use, and effective strategies for finding a place to live with peace of mind.

Have you just arrived at the University of Lille? Do you feel lost among the university’s various departments, platforms, and apps? Don’t panic! The Maison Internationale is here to help
We’ll guide you through a workshop to help you get to know the tools and resources the university offers, so you can better adapt to your new university life in France. You’ll also get to meet other international students and enjoy some friendly company! 😁
And to help you find your way around campus, a guided tour is also being organized at 12:30 pm.! The tour will depart from the Maison Internationale and head toward the Cité Scientifique metro station, passing by the main useful locations on campus to help you more easily find your way to your classes or the university dining hall (RU). The tour will last about 45 minutes. 🚶♀️🗺️

To help you settle in and adapt to your new university life, the University of Lille and its partners are pulling out all the stops! Health, equality, sustainable development, culture, languages, career readiness… All our services are here to welcome you, keep you informed, and support you. And that’s not all: Campus France, the Health Insurance Office (CPAM), Ilévia, and many others will also be there to answer all your questions!
📅 Join us on Wednesday, September 9th, from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. at the Maison Internationale.
Also on the agenda:
🩺 At 11 a.m. a presentation by the CPAM to help you understand everything about your health insurance enrollment.
📄 A session dedicated to residence permits to inform you about administrative procedures and answer your questions.
🚌 Ilévia will be there and can issue your transit pass right on the spot, so you can get around easily as soon as the school year starts.

The Maison Internationale team offers you a guided tour in English or in French to help you get your bearings and spot the city's landmarks. It's also an opportunity to get to know other internationals who, like you, have just arrived in Lille!

A student visa allows you to pursue your studies in France, but it also comes with important rules that you must understand to ensure a smooth stay: the right to work, travel within France and abroad, administrative procedures, renewing your residence permit, and situations to avoid.

This Saturday, September 26th at 2pm, hop on a bike 🚴 (no need to bring your own, we'll lend it to you) for an original guided tour organized by the Grand Huit association. For around two hours, let yourself be led by a passionate guide who will show you what he loves most about his city: from emblematic historic 🏛️✨ sites to more unusual corners, via the banks of Lille.
The route includes around ten stops to take time to explore, listen to surprising anecdotes... 💬😮 and even take on some fun little cycling challenges!
⚠️ Of course, you have to know how to pedal without the little wheels... otherwise you'll get lost as soon as you turn the first corner! 😉
