As university staff, many opportunities are open to you ; there are a number of ways in which you can come at the University of Lille. For each of them, we offer a legal framework and different hosting conditions tailored to your situation.
The different programmes
Are you a faculty or staff member at a European university that partners with ours? Would you like to come and teach for a short period at the University of Lille, or strengthen your ties with our university? The Erasmus+ mobility programme is for you!
Duration of the mobility period
The teaching assignment must last between 2 days and a maximum of 8 weeks. A minimum of 8 teaching hours per week is required.
Procedure
Please contact your contact person at the University of Lille to agree on the content and schedule of the mobility period, then contact the International Relations Office at your home university.
In order to strengthen the internationalisation of research, the University of Lille has set up the ‘guest speaker’ scheme, which is managed by the International Relations Department.
Lecturers and researchers can invite a foreign counterpart to teach students or conduct research at the University of Lille.
Mobility lasts between 1 week and 1 month maximum. The University will pay for transport, accommodation, meals and hours of teaching.

Recruitment conditions
- The foreign language for which candidates apply must be their mother tongue or another language that they speak on an equal footing with their mother tongue.
- Candidates for the post of foreign language lecturer must hold a foreign qualification or diploma equivalent to a Master's degree.
- Candidates for the post of foreign language teacher must have successfully completed one year of doctoral studies abroad or one year of postgraduate studies in France.
