As part of your mobility, you may receive one or more financial grants depending on, among other things, your destination, your level of education and the duration of your mobility.
WARNING ! You are not eligible for a mobility grant if:
- you are doing a gap year during your mobility
- you are going on an individual mobility
- you are a recipient of a mobility grant from a Graduate Programme or the EU4EU programme
Students with disabilities or in ALD (long-term health affection) who are beneficiaries of an Erasmus+ grant may receive additional assistance to cover the additional costs related to their disability or ALD.
The award of international mobility grants is subject to a decision by the Commission of selection of the University of Lille.

To be eligible for international mobility grants, you must reside in the host university’s country. Students who make daily round trips from France, or carry out a distance mobility from France or from any other country than the host university are not eligible for mobility grants.
I apply for a mobility grant
Complete and submit the Step 2 Application for Financial Assistance form in the Going Abroad app accessible from the ENT of the University of Lille.

The step 2 financial aid application form will be available only after acceptance and validation of step 1 of the international mobility application by your faculty/school/institute.
For the follow-up of the validation of your step 1,contact your Head of International Relations Department of your faculty.
Deadline
Validation step 2 of financial aid application:
- 31st of May for a mobility starting in the 1st semester or for the full academic year / or 10 September only for first-year undergraduate students.
- 15th November for a mobility starting in the 2nd semester
Results
Results of the requests for financial assistance submitted on time will be sent by e-mail:
- During the month of July for a start in the first semester or for the full academic year
- During the month of December for a departure in the 2nd semester
The grant for international internship mobility is not cumulative.
To be eligible for international mobility grants, you must reside in the country where the internship takes place.
Students who make daily round trips from France, or carry out a distance mobility from France or any other country other than the country of the place of internship are not eligible for scholarships.
In the case of remuneration or gratuity from the host organisation, students who receive allowances are not eligible for any international mobility grant.

You need to Complete and submit the International Mobility Application Step 1 and Financial Assistance Application Step 2 forms on the Going Abroad app accessible from l'ENT de l'Université de Lille.

Results

The aim of this grant is to support short stays abroad by University of Lille students as part of their Summer and Winter Schools.
A limited number of grants will be awarded for a lump sum of 400€. These grants will be financed from the Erasmus+ organizational envelope, so only Summer and Winter Schools taking place in an establishment located in a member country of the Erasmus+ program or in the United Kingdom will be eligible.

You are on international mobility and you are experiencing significant financial difficulties? The Engineering Department for International Mobility can pay you an exceptional aid subject to supporting documents.
If you are in a difficult situation, contact the International Relations Department of your faculty who will examine your file with you, and then will forward your request to the Directeur of the International departement of Mobility engineering (DiMi) for the approval of your request.
The Taipei Representative Office in France (BRTF)
For each academic year, the Ministry of Education in Taiwan will offer monthly stipends to French students wishing to improve their Mandarin - or learn this language - at an accredited Chinese language center in Taiwan.
Beyond simple language learning, Chinese language scholarships serve general objectives of:
- enable beneficiaries to better understand - through knowledge of the Chinese language - the culture of Taiwan;
- promote friendship between the Taiwanese population and the peoples of the world;
- to foster increased international exchanges between educational institutions.
We remind you that the registration campaign will open on February 1, and will run until March 15 for applications from the reserved scholarships.

Any applicant for a Chinese language scholarship from the Ministry of Education in Taiwan set up with the Education Service of the Taipei Representation Office in France must meet all of the following conditions:
- French nationality holder;
- Not be in possession of a Taiwanese passport, nor have the status of overseas Chinese, nor be a national of the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong or Macao;
- Have reached the age of 18 years, hold the baccalaureate or higher degree, have excellent results in their current academic training or in the last academic training followed and be of good character;
- Not to be in an internship periode at a Chinese language centre in Taiwan, nor have completed or received a degree from a Taiwanese university;
- Not to be a part of an inter-university exchange program between between his home institution and a Taiwanese educational institution when he receives the Chinese language scholarship;
- Have never received a Chinese language scholarship or a Taiwan university scholarship;
- Not be simultaneously a recipient of a scholarship from another Taiwanese government institution or a Taiwanese educational institution.
Overseas Chinese scholarship programs are managed by the Overseas Chinese Commission.

Step 1: Submission by post
Each application file, filed in 3 copies, is composed of:
- an application form (for applicants receiving a grant, this form must be endorsed by the administrative services of the university) to be completed in French, downloadable below:
Editable version, click on File > Download, fill in and print, then date/sign by hand
Printable version, to be filled with blue or black pen
Make sure to clearly indicate the desired duration of the scholarship; wearing glasses in the photo is allowed.
- The signed and dated scholarship contract which can be downloaded here: Terms of agreement for Ministry of Education Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program
- A photocopy of the passport including the signature page (or, if not available and on a temporary basis, the French national identity card);
- Photocopy of the highest diploma and transcripts of the training for this diploma;
- Photocopy of the application form for registration at an accredited Chinese language center (+ proof of dispatch or acknowledgement from the center).
In the event that registration at the center of your choice is not yet possible, a copy of your exchange by e-mail with the language center is admissible pending receipt of the application for registration, or the final letter of admission;
- Two letters of recommendation (from teachers providing training to the candidate if the candidate is a student, or from superiors who know the candidate professionally if the candidate is already in active life) on headed paper and signed. These letters can be written in French, Chinese or English;
- a cover letter (in French or Chinese);
- La checklist duly signed and dated.
- for applicants to a 9-month scholarship: attestation + results at TOCFL (2023 or 2024) Band B/niv.3 (or beyond) or proof of registration for the session of 22/03/2025(see supra, paragraph “ Duration ”).
ATTENTION: Documents of the same nature must be printed or photocopied on both sides.

Step 2: Online registration
In parallel to the submission of the paper file, each candidate must also complete:
- An online registration* by selecting "Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (MOE)", where the same documents and content as the paper file must be provided
* Do not fill out directly on site: prepare what you are going to answer in Word or Office then copy and paste, to avoid any disconnection due to inactivity.
- Please complete this registration in French.
- For a birth date prior to 1999, select 1999 and then click again on 1999 to display more years.
- In "References", fill in the authors of your letters of recommendation.
- The TOEFL is not mandatory.
- A questionnaire to be filled in online
Scholarships can be awarded for a duration of 9 months, 6 months or 3 months; or 2 months in the context of summer sessions (June-July or July-August 2025) of language centers.
The 9-month scholarships will only be awarded to students who have been admitted to the TOCFL at least 2 years before departure (Band B/level 3) or who can provide proof of registration for the French session in the same year as the application (to pass it before departure)

Scholarship amount Chinese language scholarships have a gross monthly allowance of TWD 28,000 (New Taiwanese Dollar. January 2026exchange rate : 1 euro = 37 TWD)
All costs, including tuition and related fees (textbooks, laboratory fees, etc.), health insurance, accommodation, travel expenses - including international flights are borne by the fellows.
ATTENTION: The allowances are paid to the student directly by his host institution, monthly and at the end of the term, after verification that he has met the conditions of attendance and results. This provision implies that the fellows will have to provide a personal starting budget of around € 3,000 in order to be able to meet their expenses for the first two months.
