Attention! Please note that for regulatory reasons, we are unable to accept students in hospital training under the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme. Admission under the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme is only possible within a research laboratory.
All students doing an internship (a compulsory part of their course of study) in France must draw up an internship agreement, which must be signed before the start of their internship. The University of Lille's internship agreement is the only legally binding document for international students, even if the home institution provides its own document.
How do I apply for an internship?
As part of an inter-university agreement
If you are from a partner university and would like to do an internship (in a laboratory) under the agreement between our institutions, please contact the faculty's international relations department of the University of Lille.
For Erasmus+ internships, a Learning Agreement for traineeship must be drawn up and signed by your home institution and the host organization.
On an individual basis
- Step 1: Send your application directly to the structure of your choice: laboratories and research units, central administration or components (University Organization (nouvelle fenêtre))
You'll need to bring your CV and cover letter.
- Step 2: If your application is accepted, you'll need to draw up an internship agreement with the host organization, which is compulsory for your stay at the University of Lille.
Financial support
If your internship lasts more than 2 months and is governed by a Université de Lille internship agreement, you will be entitled to a bonus in accordance with French regulation. The hourly rate corresponds to at least 15% of the Social Security ceiling.
