NeurotechEU: the European University of Brain and Technology invites 5 students from each partner Universities to be part of its Doctoral Network.
The NeurotechEU Doctoral Network connects doctoral researchers in neurotechnology across Europe, offering opportunities for international collaboration, professional development and career exploration alongside existing doctoral programmes. Participants engage in online activities and an annual in-person meeting.
Designed for PhD students enrolled in their first year of doctoral study at the University of Lille in 2026, this cross-disciplinary programme is designed for early-career researchers whose thesis work focuses on the brain and neurotechnologies in the broadest sense, in keeping with the Alliance’s interdisciplinary ethos. All disciplines are eligible, provided the research project falls within one of the eight dimensions that define the scope of the Alliance: from neuroscience and psychology to robotics, from AI to ethics, economics and law, and from philosophy to health sciences.
The programme offers an international doctoral environment of excellence: following the hybrid kick-off event at the start of the 2026 academic year, there will be regular webinars dedicated to research support and the development of cross-disciplinary skills, European scientific collaborations, Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, and participation in the NeurotechEU General Assembly in Romania in May 2027.
