Summer Scholl Precision Health
We are pleased to announce that the first Precision Health Summer School entitled "Breaking Down Barriers: How interdisciplinary approaches shape precision health" will take place from 3 to 5 July 2023 in Lille.
It will be held in the form of conferences, flash talks and posters, with, of course, a moment of conviviality.

All students interested in the themes of the Precision Health graduate programme and the interdisciplinarity it involves are welcome! Each student participant is expected to submit an abstract (details in the registration form).

Master’s in Biology and health – Precision health
Seminars: “Current concepts in precision healthcare” (first semester)
10 seminars, each run over 1 or 2 days, presented by national and international experts in the form of short and highly interactive conferences (students are invited to take part in a lengthy discussion session), addressing the following topics:
From “omics” to systems biology
Imaging
The molecular basis of pathologies and treatments
Artificial intelligence
Novel modes of action in personalised drugs
Innovative medical devices
Using patient cohorts in cutting-edge research
Public health policies and the economics of healthcare seen in the light of precision healthcare
Ethics, healthcare and society
Study lab
An innovative training course to put together a research project and write up a draft and funding application. Work conducted in small interactive groups including both students and mentors. First semester.
Research traineeship in a laboratory
A long period (6 months) of training in research through research in internationally renowned laboratories, with personalised preparatory work beforehand.

Precision healthcare graduate programme: PhD
Seminars: “Current concepts in precision healthcare”
10 seminars, each run over 1 or 2 days, presented by national and international experts in the form of short and highly interactive conferences (students are invited to take part in a lengthy discussion session), addressing the following topics:

Presentation of the major concepts in these areas, with examples of applications in each of the 4 main targets, cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, neuroscience, and infectious and immuno-inflammatory pathologies.
International mobility
- International mobility trip of up to 6 months during the 3-year PhD programme.
- International mobility grants for traineeships abroad or to take part in interdisciplinary summer schools and conferences.
Career support
Career orientation towards the socio-economic world and bioentrepreneurship, offering support to doctoral students with their future employment prospects: university diploma in healthcare entrepreneurship (https://health-entrepreneurship.univ-lille.fr/), visits to companies, PreciDIAB industrial club ….
