Grant Application

The Graduate Programmes of the University of Lille offer fellowships and relocation grants to attract bright students in their master tracks, as well as outgoing mobility grants to its registered students. Check out the calendar for ongoing calls and found out the type of grants you can apply to.

Scholarships & grants

WHEN: Before the start of the academic year (prospective or registered students)

WHO: International students ; Students from other universities ; Students in Master 1

  Fellowship 

☑️ Eligibility: Any student at M1 or M2 level in the process of applying or intend to apply for one of the master’s courses on the graduate programme, may apply for the fellowship. Special attention is given to applications from foreign or other French universities, but applications from students of ULille are also welcome.

☑️ Grant allocation criteria: Academic criteria, based on the study track followed, the academic record, and the institution of origin ; Professional project and consistency with the scope of the Graduate Programme

☑️ 3500€

WHEN: Before the start of the academic year (prospective or registered students)

WHO: International students 

   Relocation grant

☑️ Eligibility: Any foreign student entering a French higher education institution for the first time and enrolling for the first time in a Master 1 or Master 2 of one of the Graduate Programmes.

☑️ Grant allocation criteria: This is a financial contribution to help cover your travel and living costs. The “settling in” grant can only be awarded for your first year in Lille.

WHEN: During the academic year (registered students)

WHO: Master students from the Graduate programme ; PhD students from Graduate Programme

  Outgoing mobility grant

☑️ Eligibility : This call is open to all Master 1 and 2 students and PhD students who are registered in a Graduate Programme. Mobility can be carried out in foreign laboratories, foreign public and private institutions, archives, international organisations and other institutions relevant to the research or internship of students and PhD candidates. Participation in international conferences is not eligible

☑️ Grant allocation criteria: Coherence and relevance of the mobility project to the themes of the current Master or PhD programme ; Relevance of the mobility project to the applicant's current activity (internship or thesis) or professional career plan ; Quality and relevance of the host institution ; Quality and relevance of the applicant's academic record

☑️ up to 3000€
