ISEP international student exchange program

ISEP: a network of partner institutes in higher education

ISEP gives students from the University of Lille the chance to travel abroad beginning in their 3rd year at bachelor’s level (applications to be submitted in 2nd year).

Presentation and how it works

The ISEP network is made up of some 300 higher education institutes. These are selected by ISEP based on the quality of their teaching and facilities. At the University of Lille, ISEP mainly involves mobility trips to and from the United States of America.

As part of this network, an overseas student who arrives here gives a student from the University of Lille the chance to spend time at an overseas institute of their choosing. The Lille student can choose from the 145 partner universities in the United States of America.

The complete list is available on the official ISEP website: https://www.isepstudyabroad.org/

Periods of mobility last one semester (first or second) or a full academic year. Outgoing students draw up a learning agreement with the help of a member of teaching staff from their department/faculty and the ISEP coordinator, Lucie De Carvalho (lucie.de-carvalhouniv-lillefr)

ISEP then takes care of the academic transcript and grades transfer, which enables the student to validate their semester or year abroad as part of their French course.

ISEP mobility schemes are based on the value of intercultural exchanges and offer participants the chance to experience university life abroad.
