Take part in our travel journal workshop, specially designed for international students!
Objective? Personalise a creative notebook to collect your memories: photos, tickets, drawings, anecdotes, highlights, and everything else that made your stay an unforgettable experience.

The festive season has just come to an end, and there is already a new opportunity to treat yourself: the galette des rois! The Maison Internationale team offers you a guided tour in English or in French to help you get your bearings and spot the city's landmarks. It's also an opportunity to get to know other internationals who, like you, have just arrived in Lille!
At the end of the tour, you'll leave with tips and recommendations on how to make the most of your stay!

In partnership with the Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (CAF), one-to-one sessions are organised at the Maison Internationale every semester. These sessions allow you to speak directly with a Caf advisor about your procedures (status of your application, reimbursement terms, etc.).

This is the Welcome Days event dedicated to our dear international doctoral students: the PhD Welcome organized by Euraxess and the Doctoral College is back for its 2026 edition! If you are just starting your first year of doctoral studies, or if you are in your second year but did not have the opportunity to participate in 2024... don't miss this opportunity: Wednesday, January 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (registration required)!
Organized especially for you at the Espace Inkermann Châtillon, perfectly located in Lille, this day will help you get off to a good start in your new country and your new life.
After a complimentary breakfast in this superb mansion, you will have the opportunity to meet our team and our partners. You will be able to ask all your questions and chat with other international doctoral students during round tables organized throughout the day.

The Internships & Employment Office (Direction Stages & Emplois) is organizing consultation sessions at the Maison Internationale to support you with your internship and job-related steps.
These sessions give you the opportunity to speak directly with an advisor about your internship or job search, CV and cover letter writing, applications, and available support schemes.

Welcome days
The welcome days take place twice a year, in September and January on the various campuses of the university.
During this period, the university offers a program rich in discoveries and conviviality.
Students who come individually and on an exchange program will be able to take advantage of these days to discover the university, the city of Lille, and French culture.

International Student Week !
With 9,500 students coming from all over the world at the gates of Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom, the international openness of the University of Lille is much more than a specificity. This asset and this state of mind is what International Student Week celebrates and celebrates every year in November.
Information meetings, testimonials, conferences, café-languages, photo exhibitions, gastronomy ... Student associations
The University of Lille is home to more than 125 nuggets: associations that cover multiple themes and that are anchored in many components and on all campuses.
Many associations with an international vocation exist and welcome members and volunteers each year.
