We invite you to join us for a guided tour of the exhibition dedicated to Vassily Kandinsky at the LaM on Sunday, April 12th at 11:45 a.m.
To mark its reopening in February, the museum is presenting a major retrospective dedicated to one of the leading figures in 20th-century art. Co-organized with the Centre Pompidou, this exhibition explores a little-known aspect of the artist's work: the role of images in his creation.
Photographs, scientific illustrations, and press images: far from being mere sources of inspiration, they nourished Kandinsky's visual thinking and accompanied his quest for abstraction.
This exhibition invites you to rediscover the importance of images in the work of one of the founders of abstract art.
- Sunday, April 12th
- Tour starts at 11:45 a.m.
A great opportunity to share a cultural moment and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Kandinsky!
