To help you settle in and find your way around, the teams at the Maison Internationale and DEFI are organising a guided tour of the campus in English, highlighting useful landmarks and introducing you to the main buildings. It's a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with your new university environment!

To celebrate Mărțișor, the Maison Internationale and our Romanian student-ambassador Letitia, are excited to invite you to a bracelet-making workshop on Wednesday, March 4th at 5 p.m at the Maison Internationale.
What is Mărțișor?
Mărțișor is a tradition celebrated on March 1st in several Eastern European countries, including Romania and Moldova. It symbolizes renewal and good luck. On this occasion, people give each other small bracelets made of red and white threads, which carry wishes for happiness, health, and prosperity.
On the program:
- Discover the tradition of Mărțișor
- Create your own symbolic bracelet
- Share and have fun
Whether you are a talented artist or simply curious, this workshop is open to everyone.

Holi, the festival of colors straight from India, is a time for sharing, dancing, and laughter.

For its spring concert, the Lille University Orchestra invites you to enjoy an exceptional evening dedicated to the powerful and captivating world of composer Karl Jenkins.
The program features two major and deeply moving works:
- L'Homme Armé – A Mass for Peace (1999)
- Adiemus – Songs of Sanctuary (1995)

Welcome days
The welcome days take place twice a year, in September and January on the various campuses of the university.
During this period, the university offers a program rich in discoveries and conviviality.
Students who come individually and on an exchange program will be able to take advantage of these days to discover the university, the city of Lille, and French culture.

International Student Week !
With 9,500 students coming from all over the world at the gates of Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom, the international openness of the University of Lille is much more than a specificity.
