The festive season has just come to an end, and there is already a new opportunity to treat yourself: the galette des rois!

Whether stuffed with frangipane or apple, all you have to do is make your choice and keep your fingers crosse : maybe you will find the lucky charm hidden in every galette... and be elected king or queen! It is an unmissable tradition in France, and the Maison Internationale invites you to join in on Wednesday January 8th at 5pm!

Whether you are familiar with this custom or not, now is the time to (re)discover it and enjoy yourself in the company of other international students!

Fancy a taste of French gastronomy? It's impossible to miss out on one of its most emblematic treasures: cheese!

With hundreds of different varieties depending on the region, this speciality has plenty of character. The @associationulyssedelille3 invites you to savour a hand-picked selection of cheeses.

Whether you prefer melting textures, hard cheeses or more or less pronounced flavours, there's something for everyone! But be warned: the region's most typical cheese - and watch out for the smell - is Maroilles!

It's a gourmet evening not to be missed! You'll have the chance to meet, share experiences and explore new flavours with other students from all over the world.

Meet up on Tuesday January 21st from 6pm to 9.30pm at Café Ulysse (Building A, Level forum +2, Room A4-095) on the Pont de Bois campus.

To sign up: contact the Ulysse association on its Instagram or Facebook account, or write to Maxime on 06 63 74 86 15

Registration deadline: Friday January 17th 2025
