Activities at the Maison Internationale
February 2025

New month, new tradition in February in France: Chandeleur! Come and enjoy crêpes as we share a moment together. Chocolate, sugar or jam, there's something for everyone!
This custom dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was said that the prosperity of the year depended on how the crêpes were cooked. The round, golden shape of the crêpes is reminiscent of the solar disk, symbolizing light and the return of spring.
Maybe that'll attract the sun over here!
In the meantime, the Maison Internationale invites you to join us Tuesday, February 4th at 12pm.
