APRIL 2024
The Maison Internationale and its artist duo are continuing the "Colorful Connections" art workshops, even during the holidays! It is now spring, the sun is out again... It's time to add some colour to your life!
We look forward to seeing you every Tuesday from 4.30pm to 6pm, whether you're an experienced artist or not, to share a friendly, creative moment together. Pastels, painting, drawing... with or without a model, give your imagination free rein!

The Crous de Lille Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the University of Lille invite you to the opening of the "Liberté" exhibition, during which you will discover the 24 winning photographs from a Franco-German competition.
The exhibition gives free rein to the many interpretations of this fascinating theme, and will be on display from April 3rd to 5th at the Sully and from April 8th to 12th at the Maison Internationale, on the Cité Scientifique campus.
Places are limited, so register now to attend the opening on Tuesday April 2nd at 6pm at Sully.

The Maison Internationale invites you to join us on a tour of the Video Mapping Festival, initiated by the Rencontres Audiovisuelles Association.
You will discover about twenty creations to admire all over the city, created by international artists specialising in video mapping and international students from animation and video game schools.
This will give you the chance to take a unique route through the heart of Lille and (re)discover its iconic buildings, all while enjoying a night-time wander!

To celebrate spring, the International Relations Department is issuing you a great challenge: find the 10 paper eggs hidden around your campus with your team!
Your mission?
- Explore your campus on Thursday April 11th from 9am to 4pm
- Take photos of as many eggs as possible, numbered and in the colour of your campus
- Upload these photos to Nextcloud. A folder with your team's name will be created when you register, and the link will be sent to you later.
- Chocolate snacks at the Maison Internationale, from 5pm to 7pm, and prize-giving to the winning teams
Because it wouldn't be a real challenge if there wasn't a reward at the end of it... That is why we're looking forward to seeing you at 5pm on the same day at the Maison Internationale (Cité Scientifique)! The teams that find the most eggs will be awarded prizes. There will also be a chance to fill up on chocolates at this festive gathering, organised to celebrate the end of the international year a little early.
Register with the other members of your team (minimum 1 international student) before April 1st! If you're on your own, no problem: we'll put you in a team.
Competition reserved for students registered at the University of Lille. Access to the campus on presentation of your student card.

The Maison Internationale and Georgian student and Young European Ambassador Tamar have joined forces to offer you an immersion in Georgian culture, including its delicious traditional cuisine!
As well as discovering this fascinating culture, you'll also enjoy vibrant music, dance, games and quizzes about Georgia, while having the opportunity to meet some friendly Georgian students currently on exchange at the University of Lille...

The Maison Internationale invites you to a guided tour of the new exhibition at the Institut du Monde Arabe - Tourcoing: Fares Cachoux. Figures contemporaines.
Somewhere between posters, slogans and large-format paintings, the highly colourful works of this Syrian artist belong to an engaged art. The subjects he tackles are vast: politics, the environment, analysis of our societies and their dysfunctions... The artist's gaze is incisive, and at the service of freedom.

Welcome days
The welcome days take place twice a year, in September and January on the various campuses of the university.
During this period, the university offers a program rich in discoveries and conviviality.
Students who come individually and on an exchange program will be able to take advantage of these days to discover the university, the city of Lille, and French culture.

International Student Week !
With 9,500 students coming from all over the world at the gates of Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom, the international openness of the University of Lille is much more than a specificity. This asset and this state of mind is what International Student Week celebrates and celebrates every year in November.

Student associations
The University of Lille is home to more than 125 nuggets: associations that cover multiple themes and that are anchored in many components and on all campuses.
Many associations with an international vocation exist and welcome members and volunteers each year.
